Grand Masta Rats also known as Ratty and Ratstar is a San Diego DJ fixture.  I first heard him play over a decade ago at Live Wire and have been a fan ever since.  Scratch & Surgery 4.5 is a 7 inch featuring 4 insturmentals.  I didn't even know Ratty was making beats until Jo_iLL played the record for me at his crib.  I knew when I heard it we had to have it here at Fresh Crate.  Don't sleep.
