My man Kahlee mentioned this project to me some time back. He seemed pretty excited about the project when he talked about it. All I remember was him mentioning some Islander ish. Honestly... at the time I wasn't sure what to expect but now that I've heard the project, I have to say I'm impressed. It's straight up hip hop with an Island culture flavor on the content. Adikt 1 is dope on the beats, Kahlee is his usual fresh self, and Uptown who I never heard before is a refreshing surprise. Uptown references Vacaville a number of times. I actually used to work in Vacaville for a bit when I lived in the Bay. Plus... you get 7 instrumentals all for the price of 7 bucks. WOW! I can't wait to hear the full length. Rumor has it that you might be hearing some Uptown and Kahlee over some Supa Koopa ish. Can't wait to hear what that is going to sound like.
